Comp: Storium (crowdfunded 2014, tiny), Storyfall (solo indie), PlotVote, Mycelore (preview), Sudowrite ($1.8M ARR after 5yrs, bootstrapped), NovelAI (subs only), AI Dungeon (-46% players Feb25→Apr26). Wattpad ($895M rev) owns social-serialized but not multiplayer. Reality: lane is open — no funded incumbent in voted-canon-multiplayer. But the cat is small (Sudowrite at $1.8M tells you ceiling). Wedge: real; monetization is the question.
