What the free route requires
- Listing is free ('Absolutely nothing' per FAQ) but the site is a US restaurant menu guide — only restaurants with a menu qualify; part of the Grubhub portfolio since 2011
Requirements
- A real US restaurant with a menu — not applicable to SaaS/software products
- Menus accepted via email, fax, mail, or an online source (restaurant website)
- Updates/corrections go through the Restaurant Center request flow
Prepare before opening the form
- Current menu (file or URL on the restaurant website)
- Restaurant name, address, phone, categories/cuisine
- Online menu URL if available — Allmenus can pull from it
Workflow
- Go to the Allmenus Restaurant Center (linked from the FAQ — the batch's /for_restaurants/ URL 404'd)
- Submit the restaurant + menu via the Restaurant Center update/add request, or send the menu by email/fax/mail per the FAQ
- Alternatively, listings can be pushed via listing-sync providers (e.g., Yext lists Allmenus as a publisher)
- Wait for Allmenus to publish/maintain the listing at no cost
Watch for
- Vertical mismatch: restaurants only — a SaaS launch cannot use this legitimately
- The batch submission URL /for_restaurants/ 404'd; the live route is the Restaurant Center linked from /faq/
- Homepage returned compressed/binary content to the fetcher — expect bot protection
- Distribution is managed (Allmenus aggregates from data providers too) — turnaround unknown
