Prepare before opening the form

  • Comparison content: features, pricing, reasons-to-switch copy (AI draft generation is built in)

Workflow

  1. Sign up and open https://althunt.io/new ('Create alternative')
  2. Use the AI draft generation + Notion-style block editor to build the comparison page
  3. Publish — add the verification badge to your site on the free tier
  4. Page appears in the Alt Hunt feed/comparisons and targets Google/AI-answer visibility for '[competitor] alternative' queries

Watch for

  • One edit only post-publish on free — get it right before publishing (Pro unlocks unlimited edits)
  • The 'listing' is a comparison page, so it competes on your rival's brand terms — write fair, factual comparisons
  • Badge requirement is effectively a backlink-for-listing exchange on the free tier
