What the free route requires

  • Free $0 launch requires the Aura++ badge live on your site AND finishing Top 3 on launch day to earn a dofollow backlink; there is also a free 'No-Follow' tier with no badge that never earns a followed link.
  • Free launches sit in a waiting queue; paid tiers skip it. Scheduling window: FAQ says free can schedule up to 365 days ahead, Premium up to 60 days, Premium Plus up to 14 days (a repo README says 90 days for free — sources conflict).

Requirements

  • Account required — the submission is a 5-step wizard ending on a 'Backlink' step.
  • Product description has a hard floor of 200 words (400+ recommended) in a rich-text editor.
  • Choose up to 3 categories and schedule a launch date; launches go live 8:00 AM UTC.
  • An AI Autofill button beside the website field can prefill the project info.

Prepare before opening the form

  • Account on auraplusplus.com.
  • Square logo, 2–3 screenshots or demo GIF, 150–300+ word human-first description.
  • One-sentence pitch, website URL, GitHub and social links.
  • Badge embed decision made BEFORE the wizard: the Launch Date step picks the plan (Free-with-badge / No-Follow free / Premium / Premium Plus).

Workflow

  1. Sign up / log in, then open the Submit Project flow (5-step wizard: Project Info → media/details → Launch Date → plan → Backlink).
  2. Fill project info (name, URL, optional affiliate URL, ≥200-word rich description); AI Autofill can assist.
  3. Choose launch plan and schedule the date; free enters the queue, paid picks sooner slots.
  4. Free-with-badge: embed the badge and keep it live; finish Top 3 on launch day for the dofollow.
  5. Engage on launch day (reply to comments within ~2h) and monitor upvotes.

Watch for

  • Two different $0 tiers — 'Free' (badge + Top-3 → dofollow) vs 'No-Follow' (no badge, never followed). Pick deliberately; the wrong free tier wastes the listing's SEO value.
  • Conflicting scheduling windows across sources (365 vs 90 days for free) — confirm in the wizard.
  • Conflicting premium prices across sources ($29/$69 on-site pricing vs $17/$34 reported by a third-party crawl) — verify at checkout.
  • NOTE: the batch-listed URL /projects/submit currently renders a published project page for a tool literally named 'Submit' — the real flow is the logged-in Submit Project wizard, reached via nav after auth.
  • Re-launches: 10 user re-launches with a 14-day cooldown on paid tiers.

What counts as live

A public project page at auraplusplus.com/projects/<slug> with status 'live' on the chosen launch date (the observed example page carried fields: status, upvotes, launched date, categories, maker).

Not verified

  • Exact current prices (site marketing pages returned only a summary; third-party reports differ).
  • Whether badge verification is automated or manual.
  • Exact free-tier queue length.
