Requirements

All submissions are paid — 'There is no free submission option' (free submissions were discontinued)
Startup must be pre-launch or recently launched with a clear value proposition, good design, and an innovative idea
Must have its own domain — free hosting subdomains (vercel.app, netlify.app, herokuapp.com) and direct app-store links are rejected
Account sign-in required (X/Twitter OAuth or email magic link)
If not selected, the payment is refunded in full automatically (5–10 business days to appear)

BetaList account (X login or magic-link email)
Startup name, own-domain URL, tagline, description, logo/screenshot
Choose a plan at the end of the submission form — plans differ by featuring speed and guaranteed newsletter inclusion
Polish the landing page — value proposition, design, novelty are the stated selection criteria

Sign up / sign in at betalist.com (X OAuth or email magic link)
Open https://betalist.com/submit and complete the startup form
Pick a plan and pay at checkout — charge happens at checkout, before review
Editorial team reviews; decision arrives by email
If accepted: featured on the timeline per plan; do-follow 'Visit Site' link via 301 redirect with ref=betalist and UTM parameters
If rejected: automatic full refund; resubmission allowed after improvements
Track status in /dashboard; upgrades to faster plans possible from the dashboard

Payment is charged upfront before editorial review — the refund only comes if not selected
No individual feedback on rejections — 'we're not able to provide specific feedback'
Each startup is generally featured once; the only exception is pre-launch startups re-featured at launch
Edits after featuring go through the team via dashboard link — no self-serve editing
Newsletter inclusion is only guaranteed on certain plans — check your confirmation email
Expect sales/spam email after featuring — scrapers harvest contact info from featured sites

Startup appears on the BetaList browse/timeline pages with a public listing page and a working 'Visit Site' redirect link
