Free route profile

Researched from public pages — no submission was run · sources read 2026-09-25. Rules change — recheck the platform's own pages before submitting.

Requirements

  • Free account as an entrepreneur/founder at gust.com/signup/entrepreneurs
  • Signup asks for startup name, whether the startup is incorporated, how far along it is, and the city where it's located
  • Publishing is optional: an unpublished private profile can still be submitted directly to investors; publishing is what creates the public directory listing

Prepare before opening the form

  • Founder name and account email
  • Startup name, incorporation status, stage, and city
  • Company profile content: executive summary, team info, pitch materials (kept private by default)
  • Decide deliberately whether to publish - publishing exposes a limited public view and is Google-indexed

Workflow

  1. Sign up at https://gust.com/signup/entrepreneurs and complete the startup questions
  2. Build the Gust Company Profile (story, progress, diligence materials)
  3. Use the publish option on the profile to list it in Gust's public company directory
  4. Optionally submit the profile directly to investor groups from their Gust profile pages

Watch for

  • Published profiles ARE indexed by Google - company name, founder names, and management team names can surface in search
  • Only a limited public view is shown (contact info, executive summary, documents, financials, pitch deck stay private) - but investors in Gust's Group Investor Platform can request full access
  • Companies located in Boston, New York, or London are additionally surfaced on Gust-powered hub sites (starthub.org, digital.nyc, tech.london)
  • Publishing is not required to use Gust - don't publish if the goal is only a directory listing and you want minimal exposure

What counts as live

The company appears in Gust's public directory at gust.com/search and its limited public profile page is viewable without login

Not verified

  • Current field-level requirements for a 'complete' published profile
  • Whether publishing requires a completeness threshold or manual approval
  • Any current paid tier affecting directory visibility
