What the free route requires

  • Account (sign-in) required — submissions go through /dashboard/submit-idea
  • Free submission is possible; the $0 'Badge & Dofollow backlink' option requires adding IdeaKiln's badge to your site and your domain must have DR above 10
  • All ideas go through a review queue unless a paid 'Queue Skipper' boost ($5) is added

Requirements

  • Paid boosts: Queue Skipper $5 (published within 2 days), Promoted $19 (dofollow + promoted placement), Premium $29 (landing page + idea page features)

Prepare before opening the form

  • Account on ideakiln.com
  • Idea/product name, tagline, description, category (AI, productivity, marketing, BI, SEO tools etc.)
  • Stage selection (concept / mvp / launched)
  • If taking the badge route: a site location for the IdeaKiln badge and a domain with DR > 10

Workflow

  1. Sign in at ideakiln.com
  2. Open /dashboard/submit-idea
  3. Fill in the idea details and stage
  4. Optionally add a boost (badge/dofollow, queue skip, promoted, premium)
  5. Submit into the review queue; track on your dashboard/timeline
  6. Idea appears in 'Today's trending' / weekly / monthly boards after approval

Watch for

  • The dofollow link on the free route is badge-gated AND gated on your domain having DR > 10 — a genuine DR floor
  • 'Stays dofollow as long as the badge stays up' — removing the badge reverts the link
  • Free submissions 'still go through the review queue' — no guaranteed timeline published
  • 20%-off boost promotions appear periodically (e.g. SEP20 code seen at retrieval)

What counts as live

The idea has a public page on ideakiln.com (/ideas/<slug>) and appears in the daily/weekly boards or category listings

Not verified

  • Free-tier queue length (not published)
  • What the base free listing looks like without the badge (link type unstated)
