Researched from public pages — no submission was run · sources read 2026-09-26. Rules change — recheck the platform's own pages before submitting.
Requirements
- Accepts SaaS products, apps, developer tools, online services, courses, and other digital products
- Product must be 'live enough for somebody outside your team to open, understand, and try or buy' — a live, publicly reachable website required
- Accurate founder, category, platform, and technology details; logo plus product images/screenshots
- Working links, no misleading claims or impersonation; duplicate listings are rejected in review
- Account required — submission flow sits behind sign-in at /dashboard/products/new
Prepare before opening the form
- Product URL, concise problem statement, and description
- Founder name/details, category, platforms, and technology stack
- Product logo and screenshots/images
- Optional: $30 one-time 'Authority' upgrade adds a permanent followed link, SEO/GEO controls, a reviewed article, and a labelled 30-day Featured period
Workflow
- Sign in at https://indietools.app/signin
- Open https://indietools.app/submit → 'Start your submission' (goes to /dashboard/products/new)
- Fill the product record: URL, description, category, founder details, tech stack, images
- Send to the review queue; manual review verifies the product is live/usable and may correct category, type, pricing, or copy
- On approval the product gets a permanent public page; owners can edit the listing later
Watch for
- Payment never influences approval — same review boundary for free and paid
- Featured/ads are labelled placements and don't change organic ranking
- Free tier link may be nofollow — the paid Authority tier is what advertises a 'permanent followed website link'
- Dashboard URLs require auth — direct /dashboard/products/new without a session redirects to /signin
What counts as live
The product has a public page under indietools.app/products and appears in category/discovery listings after review
Not verified
- Review turnaround time
- Whether the free tier's outbound link is nofollow (implied but not stated verbatim)
