Requirements

- Newsletters and other tool directories are explicitly rejected

- Every tool is reviewed manually before going live
Prepare before opening the form
- Submitter name, last name, company, and email
- Tool name, tagline, and full description
- Canonical tool URL (no affiliate or shortened links)
- Up to 3 categories and up to 6 topics to select
- Square tool logo 540x540 with background color, JPG or PNG, max 2MB
- Tool pricing model (free/freemium/paid)
- Optional: affiliate program application link, promo code, message
Workflow
- Open the Tally submission form at https://tally.so/r/w4Jb4b (linked from the 'Submit Tool' nav item on lachief.io)
- Fill in submitter details (name, last name, company, email)
- Fill in tool name, tagline, and description
- Enter the tool URL
- Pick up to 3 categories and up to 6 topics
- Upload the 540x540 logo (JPG/PNG, max 2MB)
- Select the tool pricing model
- In the 'Listing details' checkboxes, select 'Listing only (Free)' — or 'Update Listing (Free)' if the tool is already listed
- Submit the form and wait for manual review; approved free listings can take up to 7 days to go live
Watch for
- Checkbox field defaults toward paid options: 'Featured listing (7-days $250)' and 'Video promo + Featured listing' are upsells — select the free checkbox deliberately
- To promote an already-listed tool a separate Tally form (https://tally.so/r/nraXLl) must be used instead
- For updates to an existing listing, choose 'Update Listing' rather than submitting a new listing (duplicates are rejected)
- Affiliate or bit.ly URLs in the tool URL field cause rejection
- Featured placement only lasts 7 days even when paid
What counts as live
The tool appears as a public page under lachief.io/tool-posts/<slug> and/or surfaces in Browse Tools / category pages and the 'New AI Tools' section

- Whether rejection is communicated by email or silent
- Exact review criteria beyond the published acceptance rules
- Whether the free listing link is dofollow (catalog note says follow, not confirmed on site)
