Conditional free route community

Researched from public pages — no submission was run · sources read 2026-09-25. Rules change — recheck the platform's own pages before submitting.

What the free route requires

  • Free to launch, but requires a VERIFIED Peerlist profile — identity verification via government-issued ID or workplace verification
  • Only individual profiles (valid name + profile picture) may launch — company/non-personal profiles are disallowed
  • The project added to your profile must reach 100% completion status before it is eligible

Requirements

  • Launchable: coding projects (dev tools, extensions, libraries), design projects, digital products (ebooks, Notion templates, UI kits), etc.
  • Not launchable: unsafe products, copies/ripoffs, products you don't own, NSFW/gambling/betting — violations can suspend the profile
  • Launch window opens Mondays; each launch runs for a week with upvotes/ratings/comments

Prepare before opening the form

  • A personal account with first name, last name, username, 120-character bio, and profile picture
  • Identity verification (government ID or workplace) completed in advance
  • Project added under profile Work tab with ALL fields: name (max 45 chars), tagline (max 60), up to 3 categories, up to 10 tech tags, logo (500x500, ≤15MB), 1–4 screenshots (1200x630, ≤15MB each), description (≤5k chars), valid demo link
  • An engaged network beforehand — upvotes from active streak-holding users count more

Workflow

  1. Create account at /login (email+password or Google)
  2. Complete the profile, then get verified (ID or workplace)
  3. Add the project under your profile's Work tab and reach 100% completion
  4. On a Monday launch window, click 'Launch →', select the eligible project, and confirm
  5. Engage in comments through the launch week; ranking is upvote/comment driven

Watch for

  • The identity-verification gate is the hard wall — an agent cannot complete government-ID verification; a human owner must do it
  • Incomplete projects fail at launch time — check 100% completion before Monday
  • Launch cadence is weekly; relaunches are allowed for new versions (more flexible than Product Hunt's cooldown, per third-party guides)
  • Peerlist skews to career/builder audience — good credibility, modest buyer intent

What counts as live

Project appears in the current week's Launchpad cohort (/launchpad/<year>/week/<nn>) with upvotes, ratings and comments enabled

Not verified

  • Current weekly slot caps or competition level
  • Whether dofollow links are included on launched project pages
  • Launchpad page itself was 403 to fetch — some details rely on help-centre and third-party docs
