Free route review
Researched from public pages — no submission was run · sources read 2026-09-26. Rules change — recheck the platform's own pages before submitting.
Requirements
- You need a real business with customers who can review it — it's a merchant review platform, not a launch board
- Merchant signup at /merchantsignup does NOT accept Gmail/free-mail accounts — use a work domain email (or contact [email protected])
- Two routes: claim an existing store page (search the site → 'Claim Your Business Profile' → verification) or submit business info at /merchantsignup for review
- All store submissions are reviewed and approved by their team
- Only customers can submit a new store directly on-site; merchants without an existing page go through merchant signup/sales
Prepare before opening the form
- Work-domain email (not Gmail/Hotmail) for the merchant account
- Business details: name, URL, address, hours, contact info — 'the more information you add, the more credible you appear'
- Logo to replace the auto-generated thumbnail on the store page
- A plan to drive real customer reviews (they do not add stores proactively — customer evaluations create listings)
Workflow
- Search resellerratings.com for your store to see if a page already exists
- If yes: click 'Claim Your Business Profile' and complete verification
- If no: submit business info at https://www.resellerratings.com/merchantsignup (or ask customers to submit the store)
- Wait for approval, then complete the store profile (logo, details)
- Invite customers to leave reviews — the store page ranks in search once reviews accumulate
Watch for
- Free-mail rejection at merchant signup is the biggest self-serve blocker
- Never fake reviews — users are '100% legally liable' for their evaluations and the platform is strict
- They will NOT remove a company page once listed ('we do not remove companies from the site')
- Free tier exists for new/small businesses but scope is limited; fuller merchant tools are paid (contact sales)
- Merchant rebuttals/flagging require a merchant member account
What counts as live
A public /store/<your-domain> page exists showing your company with a star rating once the first verified customer review is posted
Not verified
- Approval turnaround for new merchant submissions
- Exact free-tier limits vs paid merchant plans
- Whether profile links are dofollow
