Requirements
- Only for dead, stalled or abandoned startups — this is a post-mortem archive and sale marketplace, not a launch board for live products
- Zero-revenue products explicitly welcome
- An account is required to list (browsing is open without one)
- Honest post-mortem expected: real metrics and an account of what went wrong
Prepare before opening the form
- Startup name, logo and screenshots
- Real metrics (users, MRR, downloads) and an honest failure write-up
- Optional: read-only API key from Stripe, Paddle, Lemon Squeezy or Dodo for revenue verification (key is discarded after MRR computation; unverified numbers stay flagged)
- Decide the end-state: keep the public record, sell ($9 unlock + 3% on sale), or revive via SaaSGrave Launches (free)
Workflow
- Create an account / sign in
- Open /sell ('List a startup — free')
- Fill the listing: story, metrics, screenshots
- Optionally connect a read-only billing key for the verified-revenue badge
- Publish the free public post-mortem
- Post-publish, choose to unlock buyer offers ($9 once) or hand the product URL to SaaSGrave Launches for a free relaunch
Watch for
- Do not submit a healthy live product here — the directory is explicitly a graveyard; live relaunches go to ls.saasgrave.org
- $9 sale unlock and 3% commission only apply if you open the listing to buyers
- Sponsored placement ($29/month for a highlighted row) is an optional upsell
- Transfers are handled directly between buyer and seller — escrow/assisted transfer still 'planned'
What counts as live
The startup appears in saasgrave.org/browse ('the graveyard') with a public post-mortem page and dofollow link.
Not verified
- Whether free listings pass a moderation review before appearing
- Listing approval/publish latency
- Whether a dead product without a live URL can still be listed (listings link out to the site)
