Free route review
Researched from public pages — no submission was run · sources read 2026-09-25. Rules change — recheck the platform's own pages before submitting.
Requirements
- Web or mobile app — the platform reviews 'emerging web and mobile applications'
- Sign-in / account required to reach the app registration form
- Free listing automatically receives a 'Scout score'; a human test/review requires credits
- Credits are earned by testing other members' apps (~30 min each) or bought/spent via the Promotion Store
Prepare before opening the form
- Account credentials for scoutforge.net
- App name, URL, description, category (Productivity, Development & Engineering, Design & Creativity, Social & Community, etc.)
- Decide whether to only list (free score) or also request human tests (credits or paid promotion)
Workflow
- Sign in at https://scoutforge.net/sign-in
- Open https://scoutforge.net/app-register ('Submit Your App')
- Register the app — listing is free and immediately gets a Scout score
- Optionally open a test request: a member tries the app for ~30 minutes and writes what they found
- Earn credits by testing other apps (or use the Promotion Store) to fund the request
- Listing appears under 'Recently published'; tested apps move to 'Recently tested' with a public written review
Watch for
- Reviews go live instantly on submission and CANNOT be edited, delayed, or taken down by the developer — even negative ones; this is stated policy
- Developer-funded reviews are publicly labelled as paid
- A developer can dispute a reviewer's payment — the dispute reason is shown publicly on the page
- The app-register form itself is behind auth — exact fields are not publicly visible
- Promotion Store offers paid featuring; featured cards are marked 'Featured'
What counts as live
App appears in Scout Forge's 'Recently published' / apps listing with a visible Scout score and a public app page
Not verified
- Exact fields on the authenticated app registration form
- Credit pricing inside the Promotion Store (page referenced but contents not captured)
- How the initial free Scout score is computed for untested apps
