Conditional free route launch-board

Researched from public pages — no submission was run · sources read 2026-09-25. Rules change — recheck the platform's own pages before submitting.

What the free route requires

  • Free launch is $0 forever, but the product-page backlink stays dofollow only while the ScrollLaunch badge remains on your site (re-checked weekly)
  • Each ISO week has only 20 free launch slots; when a week fills you pick a later week or upgrade

Requirements

  • A free account is required (submit happens from the dashboard at /dashboard/products/new)
  • Product joins a weekly (ISO week) leaderboard ranked by upvotes

Prepare before opening the form

  • Account credentials
  • Product name, tagline, description, website URL, categories, logo (AI prefill available)
  • Badge HTML to keep on the site if staying on the free tier

Workflow

  1. Create a free account on scrolllaunch.com
  2. Open /dashboard/products/new and submit the product (AI prefill assists)
  3. Pick an open launch week (max 20 free products/week; Premium skips the cap)
  4. Product goes live on the weekly leaderboard and gets a permanent /products/<slug> page
  5. Keep the badge live on your site to preserve the dofollow link

Watch for

  • Badge removal pauses the dofollow link AND any homepage ads / newsletter / X shoutouts on the free listing
  • Discovery surfaces (feed, archive) are nofollow on every tier — only the product page is dofollow
  • Premium is instant and permanent but non-refundable (transferable to another product you own)
  • Upsells: Premium $19, Premium+ $39 (adds ~1,800-word AI blog post with 4+ dofollow links), sidebar/center ads $19-29/week, newsletter sponsor $49/issue, done-for-you directory submissions $99-199
  • Exceptionally agent-friendly: llms.txt, read-only MCP server (no API key), /api/ai snapshot, OpenAPI spec, and markdown twins via .md suffix or Accept: text/markdown — do NOT scrape HTML per their ai.txt

What counts as live

The product has a public /products/<slug> page and appears on the current week's leaderboard (/week/<year>/<week> after it ends).

Not verified

  • Whether free submissions are human-reviewed before going live
  • Exact signup methods supported (email/OAuth providers)
