ShipBoost
Conditional free route launch-board
Researched from public pages — no submission was run · sources read 2026-09-26. Rules change — recheck the platform's own pages before submitting.
What the free route requires
- Free Launch requires displaying a 'Verified ShipBoost badge' on your site (reciprocal badge gate)
- Sign-in required — 'Sign in' in nav; submission flow is behind an account
Requirements
- Bootstrapped SaaS / product launches — positioned for founders
- Free tier: one week on the launchboard plus a permanent public listing indexed in category and tag pages
- Premium ($9-19/launch one-time): reserved launch week, featured placement, hand-written editorial article, guaranteed dofollow links
- 'Approved tools only' noted on pricing page — submissions are reviewed
Prepare before opening the form
- Product name, URL, one-line tagline, category (Marketing/Sales/Analytics/Support/Productivity/Development/AI/Commerce/Product)
- Logo image for the product card
- Ability to embed their 'Verified ShipBoost badge' on your site for the free tier
- Account email for signup
Workflow
- Create an account / sign in at shipboost.io
- Open 'Submit your product' (/submit), complete the listing form with logo, tagline, category
- For the free tier, add the required Verified ShipBoost badge to your site
- After approval the product enters the weekly Launch Pad board and gets a permanent listing
- Optional: upgrade to Premium for a reserved week + editorial article + dofollow
Watch for
- Free listing's dofollow status is not promised — only Premium guarantees dofollow
- Badge requirement makes 'free' effectively a link exchange
- Heavy reciprocal-badge ecosystem — evaluate whether association fits brand
- Aggressive ad upsells ($29-$59/30 days) and a paid directory-submission partner offer
- Founding Premium price ($9) is seat-limited (50 spots)
What counts as live
Product appears on shipboost.io Launch Pad board or a /products/<slug> listing page linked from category/tag indexes
Not verified
- Approval turnaround and rejection criteria
- Whether free listings are nofollow by default
- Badge verification mechanics (do they crawl for it?)
