What the free route requires

• A free community account exists and vendors historically could create/manage a Vendor Page, but vendor pages today are tightly tied to Spiceworks' commercial partnership program — the organic route is joining the community as a vendor rep ('Green Guy/Gal') and participating

Requirements

• Free account at accounts.spiceworks.com/join
• Vendor participation requires identifying as a vendor rep — Spiceworks assigns 'vendor' status and brand association
• Vendor Pages live in the community vendor directory; community posts say vendors can create a page via community.spiceworks.com/pages (historic flow) — full-fledged vendor pages are typically part of a paid partnership
• The community audience is IT professionals — the product must be relevant to IT pros

Prepare before opening the form

• A real IT-relevant product and a person willing to participate as the vendor rep
• Company details and branding assets if pursuing a Vendor Page
• Read community guidelines — overt self-promotion is discouraged; helping in threads builds the rep

Workflow

1. Join at accounts.spiceworks.com/join
2. Contact Spiceworks or post in the community to get vendor/brand status (historic route: community.spiceworks.com/pages to create a vendor page)
3. Participate in community forums answering questions (the canonical way vendors earn attention)
4. For full vendor-page features and campaigns, talk to Spiceworks sales — partnership is paid

What counts as live

A brand/vendor page exists in the Spiceworks Community vendor directory, or the vendor rep account is active and identified in forums
