Conditional free route review

Researched from public pages — no submission was run · sources read 2026-09-25. Rules change — recheck the platform's own pages before submitting.

What the free route requires

  • Reviews are free and never sponsored ('We never place sponsored reviews'), but acceptance is gated on fit signals: email marketing / MarTech / customer-platform vendors are prioritized
  • Preferred vendors show clear ICP and pricing transparency for SMB/mid-market, an active roadmap with quarterly releases, 50+ active users per quarter, available security/compliance details, and sandbox/trial/demo access
  • Only products scoring a Sprout Score of 6+ are listed on Sprout24 primary category pages — a low-scoring product still gets a context page but not main-directory visibility

Requirements

  • Product should be an email marketing, MarTech, or customer-engagement platform (emerging tools may still get roundup/matrix inclusion)
  • Must provide sandbox credentials, a demo video, or a guided walkthrough for hands-on analyst testing
  • Expect a short intake call to gather context and access credentials
  • Security posture evidence valued: SSO, data residency, audit logs, compliance artifacts

Prepare before opening the form

  • Product URL, positioning, ICP, and transparent pricing details
  • Sandbox/trial account credentials or a demo video/walkthrough
  • Security, privacy, and compliance documentation
  • Evidence of 50+ quarterly active users and an active release cadence
  • Relevant categories you want to be included in (for roundup/matrix requests)

Workflow

  1. Open https://sprout24.com/submit/ ('Request for the Product Review' in the footer)
  2. Complete the request form — or email [email protected] directly
  3. Receive an access confirmation and timeline from the editorial operations team; join the short context/access call
  4. Provide sandbox credentials / demo materials for hands-on testing
  5. Analysts test onboarding, integrations, deliverability, pricing, support, and security (standard review takes 10–15 business days after access approval)
  6. Verify factual checkpoints (screenshots, pricing, feature names) when shared before publication
  7. Review publishes with a Sprout Score/Rating on a dedicated Product Context Page; score ≥6 gets primary category-page listing

Watch for

  • You cannot buy coverage — no sponsored reviews; only 'Marketing Solutions' exist downstream for products scoring >8 with 100+ user reviews
  • A Sprout Score below 6 means the product page exists but is excluded from primary category pages — a bad review is still public
  • Editorial opinions, scores, and comparisons stay independent; vendors can only correct factual checkpoints
  • The form asks for real access credentials — be ready to provision a sandbox; credentials are stated to be removed after testing
  • Non-MarTech products are deprioritized; expect roundup inclusion at best

What counts as live

A Product Context Page exists at sprout24.com/hub/<product-slug>/ showing the Sprout Score and review; if score ≥6 the product also appears on the primary category page

Not verified

  • Whether the product page carries a dofollow outbound link (catalog note says follow; not confirmed on site)
  • Whether scores below 6 can be re-reviewed later
  • Exact fields in the request form (form body not fully rendered in fetch)
