Requirements
- A business with a live domain/website to claim a Trustpilot profile for
- A business account — created free via the signup portal
- Reviews come from customers; the business itself cannot write its own reviews
Prepare before opening the form
- Business email and the domain to claim
- Company details for the public profile (name, logo, description, categories)
- Plan for collecting organic reviews — the free tier includes 50 automated review invitations/month
Workflow
- Check your domain's existing TrustScore/profile on trustpilot.com (profiles can exist before you claim them)
- Go to business.trustpilot.com and click 'Create free account' / 'Start for free'
- Complete signup at signup.business.trustpilot.com
- Claim/verify your domain and fill in the business profile
- Optionally send review invitations (50/month on Free) and reply to reviews from the dashboard
Watch for
- All paid contracts are a 12-month commitment billed annually — Starter from $99/mo, Plus from $319/mo, Premium from $799/mo; don't 'upgrade to see pricing'
- Per-domain pricing — each domain in a plan is priced separately
- Paid tiers mainly buy invitation volume, widgets, and customization; the free tier already gives a public profile, review collection, and replies
- Do not incentivize or fake reviews — Trustpilot enforces company guidelines and removes fake reviews (7.8m removed in 2025 per their homepage)
What counts as live
A public business profile page at trustpilot.com/review/<domain> showing claimed status and collecting reviews/TrustScore
Not verified
- Exact verification method for claiming a domain (email/domain verification flow not documented on the fetched pages)
- Whether free-tier profiles appear in Trustpilot category browsing or only via direct search
